This policy explains the cookies and similar local storage Spoklin uses when you visit spoklin.com or use the app, and the choices you have over them.

Spoklin uses one essential cookie set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in between visits. Without it, you'd need to log in again on every page. This cookie is required for the service to function and can't be switched off individually — you can still block or delete it in your browser, but you'll be signed out as a result.

Spoklin uses PostHog, a product analytics tool, to understand aggregate usage patterns — such as which pages and features are used — so we can improve the Service. Spoklin does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies for marketing purposes. Our analytics (PostHog) does not include session recording or screen replay — we do not capture what you click or how you move your cursor.

Some information is stored locally in your browser rather than as a cookie: your accepted/rejected cookie choice, your selected interface language, and — for guests learning without an account — your in-progress lesson completions and XP, so nothing is lost if you create an account later. None of this is shared with third parties or used for advertising.

When you first visit Spoklin, you'll see a cookie banner where you can accept or reject the non-essential analytics cookie. Rejecting it will not affect your ability to use the Service — only the essential login cookie is required for that. You can change your choice at any time in your browser or account settings.
