Grammar note
Month names are masculine: “der Januar”. Use “im” (in + dem) for a month: “im März”. “Monat” is the singular, “Monate” the plural.
Common mistake
Don't say “in Mai” with a plain “in” before a weekday; for months, use “im” (“im Mai”).
