Grammar note
“Der Junge” is a weak noun. It takes -n in every case except the nominative singular: “den Jungen”, “dem Jungen”, “des Jungen”.
Common mistake
Don't forget the -n after “Junge” in the accusative, dative and genitive. “Ich sehe den Junge” is wrong, and “den Jungen” is correct.
