Grammar note

“Langweilig” describes something that IS boring. The feeling of being bored uses a different word, “gelangweilt”, or the idiom “mir ist langweilig” (literally “to me is boring”).

Common mistake

Don't say “ich bin langweilig” to mean “I'm bored” — that actually says “I am a boring person”. For the feeling, say “mir ist langweilig” or “ich bin gelangweilt”.
