Grammar note
“Die Straße” is feminine, so it takes “die” and “eine”. The plural is “die Straßen”. “Auf der Straße” means on the street, with the dative “der”.
Common mistake
Write “Straße” with ß, not “Strasse” with ss, in standard German. Also say “auf der Straße” for location, and “auf die Straße” for movement.
